glasses and teeth

i went to the dentist and had my teeth cleaned. my dentist was also joan's dentist. i talked about her death and shed some tears. it is hard for me to go back to joan's last months. i still feel such sorrow and loss.
the dentist said my teeth were in excellent condition. since he said that and my doc said i could easily live to be 100 (unless i  get hit by a bus!)  hopefully, i will have all my teeth when they take my pic for the local paper. headline will read, "crazy old broad makes it to 100! Note she has all her teeth".
today i am going to make a big kettle of spinach tortellini  soup without the tortellini. it has chicken garlic sauage, chick peas, garlic, onions, tomatoes, spinach and i will use spatzle instead of torts. i make lots of soup, freeze it in one-serving containers,  pop them into freezer and have easy lunches. keeps me from eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
it's a lovely, sunny day, but cold. had to scrape frost from the window this a.m. better than sister susi in massachusetts - they've had 27" of snow already! YUCK!
