I FOUND IT!!!!!

Hi! I'm back and am going to try to get my wrinkly, age-spotted wrist wearing my Fitbit. Here goes!

I just lowered my arm to see the time - 10:45 A.M.

I have walked 363 steps so far today. That's not the best number but
I haven't treaded.
Ciao!

MY ADVENTURES WITH A FITBIT

What's a Fitbit, you ask? Here is a picture of a Fitbit.

This is a Fitbit, an electronic watch and pedometer plus other features.
I wanted a Fitbit so my friend, Paula, and I went to Target and I purchased one - $129.00 plus tax.

Isn't that a pretty color - maroon. Off to Erik, my computer tutor and good friend, to get this thing
programmed. Put in my age, weight, height, password and user name. Then……tried it on and it
was too tight! The instructions said you needed to be able to slip a finger between the band and your
wrist and, if you couldn't do that, it was too tight and wouldn't register your steps. Now what do we
do? Guess it's back to Target to return and get the larger size. But wait! What about the info we put in the Fitbit? Granted I didn't give my social security number or a credit card number, but still I'm sure
I need to take my info out of there. Target guy said it could be done. Back to Erik and……….this is
what we had to do to clear the info………put in a new set of info and it would clear both! Seemed strange but that's what we did. We said I was 7' tall, 11 years old, in my trimester and nursing. Got an
e-mail saying, "Fitbit has been cleared of all information". Weird!
Now, back to Target with small one, got a large one and made plans for Erik to program the new one.
Before that happened, I went to Costco's for coffee and vitamins. Going through the electronics department, what did I see but Fitbits for $114.00!!!!! Whew! Sure glad the second Fitbit from Target
hadn't been programmed. Stopped @ Erik's shop and told him what I had found. "Return the Target
Fitbit and get the Costco's. That's a $15.00 savings"! "Yes, sir", I told Erik.
I did just that. Costco only had black Fitbits (see first picture) but for a $15.00 savings I can wear black.
Wednesday night Erik came for Chinese, some tutoring and to set up my new Fitbit.
It has been set up, I am wearing it and enjoying it.
Here is my Fitbit on my wrinkly, age-spotted wrist. Well, I have searched and searched for the picture
of me wearing my Fitbit but, for the life of me, I can't find it!
Just some words about electronic pedometers. I found that, if I don't swing my arm when I'm walking
on the treadmill or anywhere, the Fitbit will not register my steps! (I do have a way of counting my
steps when I tread and can add that number @ the end of the day.) Also, to see what time it is, I need to
lower my arm by my side, bring my arm back up and then the time appears. If you look at the picture above of the black Fitbit you can see the small screen on the strap. It reads "8151" and has two footprints on the left. To see your step count you lightly tap that small screen.
If you have been a faithful follower of my blog since Day One, you might remember a blog about my
adventure with an iPad. (Did I tell you I sold it to a friend of Rebekah's - in Denver, CO. I didn't know Erik @ that time and never really learned how to use it.)
I hope I don't give up on this Fitbit and try to sell it! If nothing else, it is a watch, an expensive one,
of course, but a watch none the less.
If I find the pic of my Fitbit on my wrinkly, age-spotted wrist, I will send a P.S. with the pic.
Enjoy your life! And be kind to one another.
