This is my younger sister, Susi.
When I was a senior in high school, it was a fad to change the spelling of your name. Judy became Judi,
Joan became Jone, Susie became Susi. Joan didn't keep her name but Susi and I have used the
names Judi and Susi for over 62 years.
Susi lives in Massachusetts. When I visit I take my laptop because Susi has WiFi. While
I was there last October, I took our pictures. (Notice that Susi did not grey like the rest of us).
Susi is a gentlewoman farmer, planting veggies mostly. She is a strong believer in organic food.
For years Joan and I called Susi's bread "cardboard bread". Not any more! I love the breads that Susi
bakes or buys at her organic grocery! In fact, I go to Bassett's here in Toledo and get my bread. Love the whole grains!!
I will try to get a picture of Joan that I can put on my blog. Then I'll say a few things about
"The Three Sisters and How They Grew".

MOMMA, REBEKAH AND STEVE
My son and daughter came home in July of last year to attend the gathering to remember Joan. While they were here, playing on the computer, we found Photo Booth. This gadget takes pictures thru the camera. It's that little black square in the lid of a laptop, the same camera that makes Skype possible. We had a lot of fun, especially Rebekah, who took some glamour shots of herself.
I have a lot of these pics and will add them to my blog occasionally.
Notice the grey hair on Steve - head and beard. Reb has some, too, but she covers hers. These kids come by the grey hair naturally. My mother and father both had white hair. Joan had white hair, too.
I started to grey when I was 25 years old. I dyed my hair for many years. When Steve was 4 years old
my dye job was growing out and I decided to cut it off and "go natural". Steve went down for a nap and I washed and cut my hair. When Steve got up from his nap, he asked me, "Are you a Gramma now"?

It's Working And Here's The Lady That Made It Happen!!!
The title of this blog pretty much says it all but I had to add that I am the tall, pretty one and Heather
has grey hair! Do you want to buy a bridge? or is it an island?
Lovely view of new living room.
I want to explain what's going on. I am learning how to get pics from the camera into my blog so Heather and I are going over and over the process. Here is a lovely picture of the living room -
looking into the bedroom. Notice the art on the walls.

The New Carpet
The first picture I took with my new Canon was accidental. I took a pic of my new carpet! And here it is for all of you to see! More later. Ta Ta!
HEATHER DID IT!
Heather is here and we have loaded pics off the camera and
into the Apple.
Heather has also fixed the date. I was on Pacific time. How I got there is beyond me.
Stay tuned. Pics will come here next. YEAH!!!!

OUT OF THE MOUTHS OF BABES
Today Heather is coming to help me put pictures on this blog. I have my fingers crossed. I
don't doubt Heather's abilities one bit but have a few worries about my Apple.
I want to share two things that some children said.
Paula took her young granddaughter to Target. Paula spotted some pink cowboy boots, and
on a whim, bought them for her granddaughter, who was thrilled!!! with the boots.
As they were leaving the store, the little girl, who had a bit of trouble with her r's, said, loudly, "I'm a vewy lucky little giwl"!! to the people around her. Paula cried!
I have tears in my eyes as I write this!
When I was pregnant with Rebekah, over 44 years ago, I taught Vacation Bible School.
The class age was five. Thinking they'd have trouble with my name I told them, "My name is Mrs. Pittaway. Eat the peach and throw the pit away". They called me
Mrs. Peach. How dear!
I was reading back through my blogs and noticed the time on one was, like 4 A.M. I was never up in the middle of the night writing on here! The time right now is 11:34 A.M.
Will check and see what shows up after i sign out.
Signing out! Goodbye!
I'm back. It says 8 something! must fix that.........but how. "Heather!!!"
