FABULOUS CREATIONS USING??

I frequent a blog created by Mark Lipinski. He puts together a potpourri of subjects - quilts, recipes, knitted projects, etc. When I get a new blog, I scroll through it, checking the knitting patterns, natch -
reading the recipes but never copying them for they are calorie-loaded. I just imagine myself biting into
a triple chocolate cake, apple pie bread - just to name a few. He also has a alcoholic drink in each
blog - the latest being a Dirty Shirley Temple - ingredients include vodka, Old Smokey Moonshine
cherry liquor and Moonshine cherries, grenadine, soda and ice. Every issue features a pair of shoes, ranging in price from 700$ to 1000$ plus.
I pulled a few pictures from his various blogs and want to share them with you.

Just Some Odds and Ends About This and That

These two pictures are from my son, Steve's, Facebook page. I wanted to share with

you the captions that Steve had with these pictures.

Caption said, "Classic Vegas".

And this caption said, "Nope"!

 This has no picture, just words. I got an e-mail

from Bill after doing the blog about clutter.

 Here's what he said - "The clutter blog was two months in the making?

(He looked at the last blog before this one - thus the two months).

Flat surfaces are the best locale for clutter. I take issue with "clutter".

You are using the flat surfaces for what they are meant to be. 

Have you tried placing papers (clutter) on sloping surfaces?----

or vertical surfaces? -----rounded surfaces? You do not have

clutter. You are using spaces wisely. I give this blog an "A" for

presentation and a "C" for authenticity.

How about that for a comment about one of my blogs!

I went to The Google to look @ Charlie Hebdo's cartoons.

I thought this one was excellent!

Lastly, it is snowing outside and has been snowing from the time

I got up, at @7:45 A.M. until now, 3:54 P.M. It is supposed

to snow most of this day and through the night. It looks to be

about 8-9"right now. Here in Ohio, that's a BLIZZARD!

For sister, Susi, in western Massachusetts,

IS IT LEGAL TO STEAL PHOTOS TO PUT IN MY BLOG????

Pianos! I was surfing the net, as they used to say, and came across painted pianos. I was agape! Agape means: (Of a person's mouth) wide open in surprise or wonder. I thought to myself, I thought, "These would make a fantastic blog". Then went about doing various and sundry things. Sundry means: of various kinds; several and……in Australia it's a cricket term for extra. (Didn't know you were going to get a lesson in English Grammar 101, did you?)
Well, I digress. Digress means: leave the main subject temporarily. I unfortunately forgot where I saw the pianos! So off to The Google to search "painted pianos" and there they were and I want to share them with you. I know you will be agape!

THANKSGIVING 2014 WITH BILL, JIM AND CHRIS @ BILL'S IN CLEVELAND, OH

My dear friend, Bill, came to Sylvania and took me back to his home in Cleveland so I could spend
Thanksgiving with him, Chris and Jim. (Chris and Jim were also @ the wild 'n crazy birthday party
@ the river in July). Here's our Thanksgiving in pictures.

I'm sorry that Chris is in the dark. There is a better picture coming up. We are relaxing while the bird cooks.

Judi, Bill and Jim are taking a quiz about what to do and not do

at holiday parties. We, of course, aced the quiz!

These three men live sans women but when a woman is around, guess who has to

do the ironing? The empty table and my coffee mug.

I should have had Bill take a picture of me slaving away ironing 

that blasted HUGE tablecloth!

The tablecloth with nary a wrinkle to be seen!

Isn't this lovely! Just waiting for the bird!

Turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry chutney, succotash, green bean casserole

and four hungry people.

Here's a nice picture of Chris, out of the dark -

Drinks were wine, milk and/or ice water.

Bill is a collector of sorts. LOL! LOL!

These are salt cellars - placed by your plate for your sole use.

Aren't they wonderful! I can count five sets. Bill will

correct me if I'm wrong. We used the chickens @ Thanksgiving.

The dregs………...

and the half-turkey.

And………..last but not least, the pumpkin pie.

It had whipped cream on the side and we added

it in heaps!

A wonderful Thanksgiving - good friends

and wonderful food! And Bill drove me home again.

The day before Thanksgiving we four went to the Cleveland Art Museum.

I was hesitant to go because I had walked outside for 45 minutes

and my back was hurting bad. But, good old Bill, said, "Chris is going

to push Jim in a wheelchair because of his knee so I will

push you in a wheelchair". And that we did. I had

my own private docent to show me all the wonders of that

marvelous museum! Along the way we came across a

????? - don't know what to call it

(Oops - tis is a pic of me in front of the "art" screen).

but will explain it this way -

A picture would come up of a painting - words about the artist - then a

blank screen (the size of a BIG tv screen) and using your finger, you could

"create" your painting using 2-4 colors. I did the red, green and yellow

one by myself. You can see, on the left the letters "JU".

The blue , white and black one was created by Bill and me. This is

my favorite of the two. We were then told we could e-mail our

pictures, which we did. I then took them from the e-mail into

my iPhoto and, lastly, into this blog. Oh, the wonders

of a computer! How I love it!.
